{"id":335,"date":"2017-10-06T12:32:33","date_gmt":"2017-10-06T12:32:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.themagnoliacompany.com\/blog\/?p=335"},"modified":"2025-01-24T14:58:08","modified_gmt":"2025-01-24T14:58:08","slug":"first-days-of-fall","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.themagnoliacompany.com\/blog\/first-days-of-fall\/","title":{"rendered":"First Days of Fall"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We love the first days of fall on The Magnolia Company farm.\u00a0 We are always looking forward to starting the harvest in October which will soon yield to our busy Christmas Holiday season.\u00a0 It is a great feeling to start cutting in the magnolia groves that have been meticulously cared for through the wind, rain and even a hurricane!\u00a0 What a delight to view the natural branches and leaves flowing into our production areas.\u00a0 Here these leaves will be assembled into stunning <a href=\"https:\/\/www.themagnoliacompany.com\/c\/wreath-collection.html\" title=\"\">wreaths<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.themagnoliacompany.com\/c\/garland.html\" title=\"\">garlands <\/a>and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.themagnoliacompany.com\/c\/tabletop.html\" title=\"\">centerpieces<\/a>. Some of these trees have been cared for close to 20 years.\u00a0 And, each year if we care for the magnolia tree in the right way it will continue to reward our work with beautiful stems to use in our designs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-1 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.themagnoliacompany.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/fall-kids.jpg\" alt=\"Harvesting branches in Magnolia Groves\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:33.33%\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.themagnoliacompany.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/wreaths-table.jpg\" alt=\"Hand-crafted magnolia wreaths on table\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Even though we produce many elegant designs, one of our favorite elements in our wreaths is the natural contrast of the deep green leaves against the copper colored backing of the magnolia leaves.\u00a0 This is an all natural classic combination of colors and texture.
